Dolly Men Moving Labor Gives Back: Helping Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Winter Garden, FL
At Dolly Men Moving Labor, we believe that being part of a community means more than just helping people move — it’s about giving back whenever we can. Recently, our team had the honor of helping Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Winter Garden, Florida, with a local moving project.
During the job, our owner, Darius, had the opportunity to meet one of the storage managers at the ReStore and learn more about the incredible work they do for families in need. Habitat ReStores provide affordable home improvement items, furniture, and building materials — with proceeds supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building homes and strengthening communities.
Darius shared that one of the most rewarding parts of being a moving company owner is getting to connect with people who are making a difference every day. “It’s moments like this that remind you why community matters,” he said. “Being able to use our trucks, our manpower, and our time to help a great cause feels good — and that’s what this business is really about.”
Our team worked together to make sure everything was handled efficiently and with care, just as we do for our residential and commercial customers.
The ReStore staff was incredibly kind and hardworking, and it was inspiring to see the impact they have on local families.
At Dolly Men Moving Labor, we’re more than just movers — we’re neighbors, helpers, and proud members of the Orlando and Winter Garden communities. Giving back is something we’ll always make time for, and we look forward to supporting more local organizations like Habitat for Humanity in the future.
